ShipLounge will not directly or indirectly, participate in any way in any transaction involving any commodity, software or technology (hereinafter collectively referred to as "item") exported or to be exported from the U.K. that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or that would require an export license under the Export Administration Regulations.

ShipLounge takes every precaution and makes every effort to fully comply with all laws and regulations governing international trade, including the Foreign Trade Regulations, relying on the information provided by the Member and the U.K. seller.

ShipLounge will not accept ‘Postage Due Mail” and/ or ‘COD Packages’, items or parcels on behalf of Customer unless Customer has previously arranged and prepaid such acceptance with ShipLounge. At its sole discretion, ShipLounge may refuse to accept ‘Postage Due Mail” and/ or ‘COD Packages’, items or parcels on behalf of Customer under any circumstances.

Customer further acknowledges that ShipLounge may return to sender or discard any mail that is received at such mailing address but is addressed to a name not previously registered with ShipLounge, ShipLounge VIP area or is addressed to a name that has not completed the requirements set forth by ShipLounge to verify the identity of such name, or is shipped by a courier from the Vendor to a name for which ShipLounge has not received a properly executed custom form (CN22, CN23 or similar)  and two forms of identification.

ShipLounge takes every precaution and makes every effort to fully comply with all laws and regulations governing international trade, including the Federal Trade Statistics Regulations.

ShipLounge reserves the right to open and inspect all items delivered in your name without notice to you. Jewellery and precious stones are (a) restricted to some countries and (b) can only be insured up to $500 maximum and any shipments of jewellery in excess of $500 carriage limit is uninsured and Member assumes all risk of loss above such limit; Lottery tickets and gambling devices; Prescription and/or veterinary medication; Pornography; Lock picking devices; Government IDs and licenses, or items that claim to be, or that look similar to, government identification documents. This includes uniforms and badges or patches designed to look like official government issue. In addition to these lists of Prohibited or Restricted Commodities, the customer cannot ship items that are listed on the Country-Specific list of Prohibited or Restricted Commodities listed on shipping carriers sites:

For more up to date information on country-specific facts and regulations, the customer must refer to the local customs authority in his country.

Customers can pre-pay Duties and Taxes that are charged by customs office in the destination country. If you choose to pre-pay Duties and Taxes, you may avoid customs delays. If you do not choose to pre-pay Duties and Taxes, you will be responsible for Duties, Taxes, and any other related charges when your package arrives in your country. If Customer refuses to accept packages or parcels from ShipLounge mailed or forwarded to Customer pursuant to this agreement, ShipLounge may return the mail or package to the original sender and charge the customer for any return postage and all other fees and expenses reasonably incurred by ShipLounge in connection with such returns. Upon the request of ShipLounge, the Customer must sign for or otherwise acknowledge its acceptance of all packages and parcels sent to Customer by ShipLounge.

ShipLounge includes order descriptions and values with the customer shipment(s), to facilitate custom clearance of packages when they arrive to the destination country. The customer is however responsible of paying all custom clearance costs including duties, taxes or any other related charges, and of providing detailed commercial invoices, if requested, to the customs office in his country, to clear his package(s) through customs for delivery.

The customer will be held liable for return shipping (if applicable), duties and taxes (if incurred), and for all other associated fees when any of the following circumstances occur: (1) He/ She refuses delivery of your parcel for any reason.  (2) The carrier makes unsuccessful attempts to deliver his parcel to his address because he was not at home and/ or did not pay duties and taxes. (3) He / She provided an invalid or incorrect address. (4) His / Her parcel is returned by customs because your merchandise is restricted from import into his country. (5) He / She refuses to pay duties and taxes. (6) if the customer fails to clear the items from Customs. (7) He / She wants to return an Assisted Purchase that he has already received for whatever reason. (We send the customer a copy of the order confirmation when the Assisted Purchase is placed, and he is responsible of notifying us of any inconsistencies before we receive and forward the Assisted Purchase to him/ her).

If any of the above occurs, the package(s) will be abandoned and the customer will be billed for any additional fees. Absolutely NO refunds will be issued.

All Packages are shipped on a limited liability basis. In no event shall ShipLounge be liable to anyone for any indirect, punitive, special, exemplary, incidental, consequential or other damages of any type or kind. In no event shall ShipLounge be liable to anyone for any direct damages of any type or kind (including lost profits) from performance of ShipLounge or its shipping carriers.

Dimensional weight may apply on bulky, lightweight packages. If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, then the dimensional weight will be used as the billable weight for the shipment. For your convenience, the actual weight, dimensional weight and dimensions for each box will be visible on your account when your package arrives at our warehouse. To determine the dim weight of a package, you must first measure the length, width and height of the package in inches using the longest point on each side, taking into account any bulges or misshaped sides. You then multiply those dimensions to get the cubic size of the package. The formula for calculating volumetric weight is length x width x height (cm) / 5000** If you measure in inches, the conversion factor is 305.

The Shipping calculator shows results for the discounted shipping rates available to the selected destination. All shipping rates are shown in GBP. Packages are forwarded by the shipping carriers that are available on the Shipping calculator, however if a certain shipping carrier does not offer a certain shipping method such as priority or economy service to the the area where the customer is located, we will automatically use an alternate shipping method offered by the same carrier. If the shipping carrier charges a remote area surcharge to deliver packages to the area where the customer is located, this surcharge will be requested from the customer before we ship his packages to him. If the customer does not pay the remote area surcharge within 5 (five) days, we will automatically ship his packages to his address with another shipping carrier that does not charge a remote area surcharge to deliver to the area where the customer is located.

If the shipping carrier does not deliver to the area where the customer is located, we will automatically use another shipping carrier that can deliver packages to the area where the customer is located.

The shipping rates displayed on and on any of its pages, or provided as quote to any business or individual, are confidential and intended solely for the addressee(s) and may be legally privileged or prohibited from disclosure. If you are not the named addressee, you are on notice of its status and may not use copy or disclose this information to any other person. To do so could be a breach of confidence and unlawful.

ShipLounge stores packages free of charge for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery from merchants to ShipLounge warehouse. The maximum free storage time for each package is 30 days since the date of its delivery to your suite from the merchants. After 30 days of free storage, a fee of £1.00 per day plus administration fee will be added, and after 60 days, the goods will be deemed abandoned and thus may be disposed of without incurring any liability to the customer or ShipLounge or any other party whatsoever.

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. ShipLounge reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.

Customer will enter a confidential password and receive a UK address with his own unit number when registering for a new account with ShipLounge and ShipLounge VIP area. The forwarding address can only be modified to another address within the same country that the customer selected during his registration on If the forwarding country was selected in error during registration, the correction must be requested by sending a message to our customer service from the same email address used for the registration on and supporting documentation including a utility bill and two Government issued picture identification cards will be requested to verify the new forwarding address. ShipLounge warehouse is a private and secure facility and it is not open to the public. Pickups by individuals or unauthorized shipping carriers are not allowed. (Our warehouse is not publicly accessible, so you can't come by yourself or send a friend or an unauthorized shipping carrier to pick up your packages.)

- What's my own ShipLounge US/UK address?

As soon as you create an account at "REGISTER NOW", you will receive a notification via email and you will have access to your address in the US/UK.

The number of your suite (#SL____) will indicate your products, this number is used to identify a client, and to locate your products. This unique US/UK address allows you to receive mail, packages of any size or even oversized items on pallets that are shipped from merchants using major shipping carriers.

ShipLounge allows you to access these deals. With your own US/UK address from, you will be able to buy goods far cheaper than otherwise possible. Most US/UK retailers will not ship to international addresses or to an address different from your billing address but now you can! Ship the goods to your established address with us and we will then consolidate all your packages and ship them to any country.

- I don't have an international or US/UK. card. How can I place an order?

If you don't have an international card or a card accepted by the US/UK retailers, use our Assisted Purchase service. Contact us and we will organise your orders within 24 working hours.

- Can I receive correspondences and documents?

Yes, the same system as if you were receiving an order and/ or a parcel.

Yes, the majority of the parcels in the US/UK are certified or registered. Unfortunately, at this moment, we do NOT accept COD shipments.

If you don't have a UK phone number and the retailer won't accept an order without it, use our Assisted Purchase service. Contact us and we will organise your orders within 24 working hours. Once we receive the items, our warehouse team will send a notification and you will be able to control your shipments.

While our shipping rates include all shipping and handling costs, you may still be responsible for certain Import Duties and Taxes levied against your shipment by your country. - Can I declare another value on my items?

You may declare whatever value you want on your items. That will be value that we declare on your package when we forward it to you. We always recommend declaring a reasonable value to avoid unnecessary delays or penalties when the package arrives at your country.

- Do I need to submit custom forms?

If you’re sending parcels to a country outside the US/ UK, yes you need to.

(For parcels from the UK, going to European Community countries will need to submit a form from the 1st of March/ 2019 according to the Brexit deals)

Other Couriers - It will be also requested an invoice to be added.

It is valid to highlight that any international parcel may be subject to local tax and or duties and it is the customer responsibility, as well if you fail to declare the full amount of your parcel may cause delays, penalties and extra charges.

- What is the limit of weight, size and value?

Regardless of the weight, size or value, we can ship anything to anywhere. That said, using our automatic tools and price finder here available, you will be able to ship a parcel with maximum 30 kgs (app 66lbs), maximum of 200cm (H + L + Dx2) and maximum value of 2.500,00.

- Can I track my parcels?

Yes. Your shipments are traceable and it will be available on the confirmation you will receive via email.

We only send tracked parcels.

- How long can I store my items at my ShipLounge's suite?

You will not pay to keep your products at our facility for up to 30 days from arrival at our facility. If you would like to store your product for an additional 30 days you can pay 1.00/ day per product being held and this has to be decided before the free period ends. If chosen not to extend after the first 30 days and do not have them shipped out, your packages will be considered abandoned and ShipLounge will sell your packages through either auction or private sale without prior warning. Just a reminder we are not a storage facility, we are a forwarding company.

- Do shipments have insurance?

Usually a minimum amount is included to the price. Extra insurance is optional (it will vary depending on the courier choice, but the most it will cost 5-8%)

- What if I receive my items with a damage or defect?

You are required to examine the goods at the moment of delivery to verify any damage or defects. If any are found, it is necessary that the consumer solicits a Report of occurrence in the presence of the mail delivery agent or attendant at your local Post office, to register any damage. If this procedure is not followed, the insurance on the merchandise will not be able to take effect. This is the only way the insurer will be able to know that you received damaged merchandise. By signing that you received the package you are attesting that the shipment was received in perfect condition.

- Whats the forms of shipments and time scales?

It will depend on the country of destination and choice of courier.

Detailed tracking and delivery estimate is from 5 to 40 working days, depending on the provider, priority plan and country of destination.

Please Note that these are all estimated time frames provided from the major couriers. There is a possibility that there could be an increase in time depending on the time it takes for the package to go through customs and the Post Office in your Country. Through the last months in the year orders normally are delayed.

- Can you ship as an individual?
